That is what the filters are for. Narrow by main ingredient, meal type, cuisine, diet, or total cooking time, and you get a shortlist you can actually choose from. The collections do the same job when you want someone else to have made the shortlist already.

How do I save a recipe for later?

Tap the heart on any recipe and it lands on your Favorites page. There is no account involved — favorites are stored in your own browser, so they stay on the device you saved them on and disappear if you clear your browser data.

Can I follow a recipe hands-free while cooking?

Yes. Open a recipe and start cooking mode: it shows one step at a time in large type and keeps the screen from going dark, so you are not tapping a phone with batter on your hands. Recipe pages are also laid out to print cleanly.

Please do — ratings come from readers who cooked the recipe, and they are the most useful signal on the page. Reviews are moderated before they appear to keep spam out, but a critical review will not be removed for being critical.
