
Blueberry Cinnamon Rolls

Blueberry Cinnamon Rolls are a delightful breakfast treat that features a soft, fluffy dough filled with a delicious blueberry mixture. The taste is a harmonious blend of sweet and fruity, complemented by a lilac-colored frosting made with cream cheese and blueberry filling. These rolls are perfect for brunch and are sure to impress with their beautiful appearance and rich flavor.
Ingredients
- •500 g all-purpose flour
- •1.5 tsp salt
- •2.25 tsp instant dry yeast
- •120 g sugar
- •240 ml lukewarm milk
- •60 g unsalted melted butter (cooled to room temperature)
- •1 large egg (at room temperature)
- •0.5 tsp vanilla essence
- •300 g blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- •130 g granulated sugar
- •0.5 tsp salt
- •0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- •1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- •2 tbsp water
- •1 tbsp blueberry filling (from above)
- •110 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
- •3 tbsp icing sugar
- •0.5 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla essence)
- •30 g whipping cream
Instructions

Mix the lukewarm milk, eggs, vanilla essence, and melted butter.

Mix all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and make a hole in the center to add all the wet ingredients.

Mix everything until you have a uniform dough that is sticky.

Let the dough rest for 1 hour, covered, until it doubles in size.

Cook all the blueberry filling ingredients in a pot until it thickens to a jam-like consistency.

Blend the filling immediately and let it cool completely.

Dust flour on a clean surface and roll out the dough to 2mm thickness.

Spread the blueberry filling evenly over the dough.

Roll the dough tightly and cut it into rolls.

Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Let the rolls sit for 30 minutes in a warm environment.

Bake the rolls at 180°C/350°F for 20-30 minutes until golden.
